Ken Wilson has nearly 50 years professional experience in advertising art, fine art, and graphic design. He holds a B.A. degree in Art and Graphic Design from Penn State University, 1976. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, he fell in love with the southwest while traveling during college and moved to New Mexico following his first job as an artist in the reknowned advertising department of the historic John Wanamaker’s department store in Philadelphia. In New Mexico, he has worked as an art director and creative director for several ad agencies and book publishers. He formed Ken Wilson Design, Inc. in 1993 as a one- man full service advertising art and graphic design studio. Retired since 2023, Ken Wilson Art & Design still accepts limited assignments in illustration and graphic design, as well as commissions in modern art and fine art.
